Amy Davagian

Varsity Coach

Coach D joined the program last year as interim CCHS Girls’ Varsity Basketball Coach and is very much looking forward to coaching again this season. She played high school ball at Holy Name in Worcester and played collegiately at Holy Cross, leading the team to three Patriot League titles and three NCAA appearances. Coach D was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003 and the Holy Cross Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005.

Coach D was fortunate to play for nurturing, dedicated coaches and with unselfish, talented teammates. This combination made playing basketball a truly rewarding experience. After playing professionally overseas, Coach D officiated high school and college basketball, was a color commentator for Charter Communications in Worcester, and coached for Concord-Carlisle Youth Basketball for 7 seasons. She hopes to inspire and teach high school players to reach their full potential both on the court and off, because many of the lessons we learn in sports carry over into our lives.

Coach Turner has worked in the Concord-Carlisle School system for 14 years as both a kindergarten and 2nd grade teacher at Willard. She has been the Concord-Carlisle Girls’ Varsity Field Hockey coach for the past 3 seasons and spent 3 years as the JV field hockey coach before that.  Her teams have been incredibly successful, including winning the DCL championship the past two seasons. For the past six years, she has also been a softball assistant coach at CCHS. Coach Turner is so excited for the upcoming basketball season!
