Amy Davagian

Varsity Coach

Coach D joined the program during the 2020-21 season as interim CCHS Girls’ Varsity Basketball Coach and is very much looking forward to coaching again this season. She played high school ball at Holy Name in Worcester and played collegiately at Holy Cross, leading the team to three Patriot League titles and three NCAA appearances. Coach D was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003 and the Holy Cross Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005.

Coach D was fortunate to play for nurturing, dedicated coaches and with unselfish, talented teammates. This combination made playing basketball a truly rewarding experience. After playing professionally overseas, Coach D officiated high school and college basketball, was a color commentator for Charter Communications in Worcester, and coached for Concord-Carlisle Youth Basketball for 7 seasons. She hopes to inspire and teach high school players to reach their full potential both on the court and off, because many of the lessons we learn in sports carry over into our lives.

Caitlyn Brennan
Assistant Varsity Coach

Coach Brennan graduated from Dedham High School, where she played soccer, basketball, and ran track. Although she was a runner in high school track, she ended up throwing in college track. Her main events were hammer (think Matilda!) and discus. Sports have been a huge part of her life. She has loved basketball since she first played in 5th grade, and she played throughout high school. She still tries to play pick up when she has time. She had the opportunity to coach basketball during the pandemic in 2020 and has been hooked ever since. Her favorite part of coaching is getting to know the individual athletes, and seeing them thrive on and off the court. After just finishing up coaching the jv girls soccer team at CCHS this fall, she is ready and excited to transition to basketball!

Sarah Whitestone
Assistant Varsity Coach

Coach Sarah joins the program this season as an Assistant Varsity Coach. She currently works in the athletic department here at CCHS as Assistant Athletic Director. Coach Sarah played high school basketball at Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton, MA then went on to continue her playing career for 4 seasons at Nichols College. While at Nichols, she also competed for the women’s soccer program for 2 seasons. Since graduating college, Sarah has held many coaching roles starting at Lesley University in Boston as the Assistant Coach for the Women’s Basketball program, then coaching HS Girls at Blackstone Valley. Most recently, Sarah coached at Fitchburg State University. Sarah enjoys coaching because she loves to help athletes not only get better at their sport, but also feel more confident in themselves. She also loves to see the transformation as a team and as individuals from the beginning of the season to the end of the season.

Marianne Chiodo

JV Coach

Coach Chiodo has been teaching at Concord Middle School since 1999, and she has been a dedicated coach of field hockey, basketball and softball for over 20 years. She herself was a successful three sport athlete in high school. Her wealth of experience as a basketball coach is a huge asset to our program. Coach Chiodo was a basketball coach in Arlington from 1992-2002, Wellesley Middle School from 2004-2008, CMS during the 2009-10 season, and she began coaching at CCHS in 2019. She is looking forward to another fun season of coaching again this year!
